Duffy debut
Debutant Richard Duffy had the best chance of the game, forcing a fine save from Slovenia goalkeeper Borut Mavric five minutes into the second half. Matej Mavric came closest for the visitors, but saw Danny Coyne repel his low, right-footed drive.
Hartson happy
"We passed the ball well against a good passing side," said Wales captain John Hartson. "Overall, considering the missing players, it was a good match." Slovenia, joint-second in FIFA World Cup qualifying Group 5, face rivals Norway on 3 September, the same day Wales meet neighbours England in Group 6.
