Hosts Spain will be in a group with 2019 runners-up Croatia after the draw for the second U19 Futsal EURO finals was made outside Jaén Cathedral by multiple senior world and European title-winning goalkeeper Luis Amado.

Finals draw

Group A: Spain (hosts/holders), Ukraine, Croatia, Romania
Group B: Poland, France, Italy, Portugal

2019 final highlights: Croatia 1-6 Spain

Having won the inaugural edition in 2019 in Riga with a final victory against Croatia, Spain will defend the title at Olivo Arena in Jaén from 4 to 10 September 2022. While Spain are joined by Ukraine and Romania as well as Croatia in Group A, the two beaten 2019 semi-finalists Poland and Portugal are in Group B alongside France and Italy.

All teams will play their group matches on 4, 5 and 7 September. The top two in each group progress to the semi-finals on 8 September, with the final two days later. All kick-off times are to be confirmed.

The draw echoes the 2019 finals, when Spain, Croatia and Ukraine were all in the same section, while Poland and Portugal also met in the group stage. The other three qualifiers this time around did not compete in Riga.

In the draw, which had no restrictions or seeding, the eight teams were split into two groups of four, Spain automatically placed as team 1 in Group A. The first team drawn was allocated to position B1, the second team drawn to position A2, the third ball to position B2, and so on.
