The FIFA Futsal World Cup final tournament has been expanded to 24 teams and will be played in Thailand from 1 to 18 November 2012, with seven European qualifiers.
European qualifying will be in three stages:
1. A 20-team preliminary round from 19 to 23 October 2011
2. The main round from 14 to 18 December
3. Seven two-legged play-offs on 25 to 28 March and 8 to 11 April 2012
