Group stage reaches conclusion

FC Bayern München are just one of the sides playing for their lives in the UEFA Champions League.

Attacking trio
The 2001 European champions sit bottom of Group A going into their final match at home against RSC Anderlecht and will unleash the attacking trio of Roy Makaay, Claudio Pizarro and Roque Santa Cruz on the visitors as they seek to avoid a second successive early exit from the competition.

All four could qualify
All of the teams in the section could yet qualify as Bayern, who must win tonight, are bottom by just one point from their three rivals. The other game sees the leaders Celtic FC visit Olympique Lyonnais. A draw for Celtic would be enough as striker Henrik Larsson returns to the ground where he suffered a serious leg fracture in 1999.

Calculators at the ready
It could be a case of calculators at the ready in Group B also. Leaders FC Lokomotiv Moskva are a point clear of Arsenal FC and Internazionale FC and two above FC Dynamo Kyiv. A draw for Lokomotiv away at Arsenal will guarantee the Russian champions' safe passage to the last 16 but such a result is only good enough for Arsenal if Dynamo and Inter also draw. For the latter two, who meet in Kiev, it is simply win or bust.

PSV must win
The same applies to PSV Eindhoven in Group C, and not just any victory will do against RC Deportivo La Coruña. Guus Hiddink's men, who trail both AS Monaco FC and Deportivo by three points, must win 2-0 or by three clear goals - and hope Monaco avoid defeat against already eliminated AEK Athens FC. Otherwise, Deportivo will join Monaco in the next round and PSV will finish third and enter the UEFA Cup.

Real need a point
In Group D, finally, Real Sociedad de Fútbol need a point at home against Galatasaray SK to secure second place in Group D behind Juventus FC. Leaders Juventus, who have qualified already, require a point from the visit of Olympiacos CFP to be sure of topping the section. As ever, will bring you live text and audio coverage of the action, together with video highlights.
