Solari out for three weeks

Real Madrid CF's Santiago Solari faces three weeks out with a knee injury, meaning he will miss AS Roma's visit.

No ligament damage
Solari injured his knee just eight minutes into the 1-0 home win against Osasuna. The 28-year-old landed awkwardly after contesting a high ball with Patxi Puñal and was carried off the field on a stretcher. An MRI scan at Madrid's Rúber International Clinic this morning revealed damage to the capsular membrane in the player's right knee but fortunately he has avoided any ligament damage.

Blow for García Remón
It is an untimely blow for newly appointed Madrid coach Mariano García Remón who is also missing playmaker Zinedine Zidane, who dislocated his right shoulder in the 3-0 defeat at Bayer 04 Leverkusen last week.
