Gomes laments lack of quality

It's a logical result. We didn't play badly but something is missing. I believe that my players are doing their best everywhere except in the final 20 or 30 metres. It has become very difficult for us to qualify but it's not over yet - we hope to take third place and why not pull off a surprise in one of our remaining games? We did more here than against PSV [Eindhoven, another 1-0 defeat] but it is not enough for the Champions League.

I am very happy with the final score and the victory. It was difficult to control the game, but the players did a good job. I'm really pleased with the whole team, they are all playing well. We had some chances to finish the game but could not get the second goal, although in the end it did not matter. Now, the most important thing is to win at home against Bordeaux in our next game.
