Celtic FC have recruited Korea Republic defender Cha Du-Ri on a two-year contract, with the option of a further season, after the free agent impressed at the FIFA World Cup finals.

Celtic FC have confirmed the signing of Korea Republic defender Cha Du-Ri on a two-year contract.
The 29-year-old full-back, who was a free agent after leaving German side SC Freiburg, has the option of a third season and the switch is subject to a work permit.
Cha starred in three matches at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and arrives in Scotland with a wealth of experience from spells at Eintracht Frankfurt, 1. FSV Mainz 05 and TuS Koblenz in Germany.
He becomes Neil Lennon's second signing of the summer following the arrival of 24-year-old left-back Charlie Mulgrew on a free transfer from Aberdeen FC. Celtic begin their UEFA Champions League quest in the third qualifying round.
