Most decorated player
The most decorated player in United's history, Giggs's main strengths are his speed and his ability to manipulate the ball while running at full pace - an intimidating sight for any defender. A Welsh international, Giggs has been a regular in the side since becoming the youngest player to represent his country aged 17 years and 321 days against Germany in 1991. He made his debut for United as a substitute against Everton FC the same year.

Legendary goal
As well as being a fine dribbler, Giggs is also a regular goalscorer, and it is not uncommon for Sir Alex Ferguson to use the Welshman as a central striker. Giggs famously scored a magnificent solo effort to win the 1999 FA Cup semi-final replay against Arsenal FC when United were down to ten men in extra time, from which point the club went on to secure an unprecedented treble of league, cup and Champions League.

Unique honour
He has claimed seven other English titles, two more FA Cups and a League Cup and is the only player to have won the Professional Footballers' Association Young Player of the Year award on two occasions, in 1992 and 1993.
