Real Betis' first European semi-final begins at home to Fiorentina, defeated finalists from the past two seasons, in the UEFA Conference League first leg.

A 1-1 draw in Poland against Jagiellonia Białystok in the quarter-final second leg was enough to seal a 3-1 aggregate victory for Betis, while two-time runners-up Fiorentina ensured a third consecutive semi-final appearance with a 4-3 aggregate win against Slovenian side Celje in the last eight (2-1 a, 2-2 h).

This is a first meeting in UEFA competition between the two sides.

Their victory against Polish side Jagiellonia in the quarter-final has led Betis to their first UEFA competition semi-final. They are aiming to become the first Spanish side to reach the final of the Conference League.
