They go into the knockout round play-offs, where they are joined by the eight sides who finished third in their UEFA Europa League groups.
How did the Europa Conference League knockout round play-off draw work?
The knockout round play-off pairings were determined by means of a draw in accordance with the following principles:
- UEFA Europa Conference League group stage runners-up were drawn against the teams that finish third in the UEFA Europa League group stage.
- Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn against each other.
