Douglas and Motta miss return

Celtic FC goalkeeper Robert Douglas and FC Barcelona's Thiago Motta have received one-match bans from UEFA.

One-match bans
UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body handed the pair one-match bans after they were sent off during Celtic's 1-0 first-leg victory on 11 March. Their dismissals followed an incident in the tunnel as the two teams made their way to the dressing rooms at half-time.

No Balde investigation
Celtic had appealed against Douglas's sending-off but this was dismissed by the Control and Disciplinary Body. However, UEFA will not be continuing its investigation into Celtic defender Dianbobo Balde's part in the tunnel incident. Balde is suspended on Thursday after earning his third yellow card in European competition this season against Barcelona.

Saviola suspended
Barcelona, meanwhile, are also missing Argentinian forward Javier Saviola for Thursday's second leg following his red card for aiming a reliatory kick at Celtic midfield player Alan Thompson in Glasgow. UEFA handed Saviola a two-match suspension last week, meaning he will also miss the quarter-final first leg should Barcelona progress.
