Ouattara makes Legia move

Polish UEFA Cup contenders Legia Warszawa have signed Burkina Faso defender Moussa Ouattara on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old has agreed a one-year contract after impressing on a recent trial at the Wojska Polskiego stadium. Ouattara, who can play either as a central defender or defensive midfielder, moves from French Ligue 2 side US Créteil, where he has spent two seasons after an earlier spell at Tours FC.

UEFA Cup task
Legia face FC Zürich in the return leg of their UEFA Cup second qualifying round tie on 25 August. Jacek Zielinski's side must come from a goal down after the Swiss club earned a last-gasp win in the first encounter on Thursday through substitute Rafael Caetano De Araujo deep into added time.
