Two more to miss AZ trip

AZ Alkmaar will be bereft of captain Shota Arveladze and goalkeeper Khalid Sinouh for Wednesday's UEFA Cup trip to Fenerbahçe SK in Turkey.

Old injury
The 33-year-old Arveladze will be a significant loss for the Round of 32 first leg in Istanbul, having scored five UEFA Cup goals and eleven in the Eredivisie this term. The Georgian has flu and is joined on the sidelines by Sinouh, 31, after the keeper suffered the recurrence of a calf strain during Saturday's 2-0 victory against Willem II. Joey Didulica, Stijn Schaars and Simon Cziommer are also injured, while David Mendes da Silva and Barry Opdam are suspended.
