Four-year deal
Nedim Tutić's side have been courting the two players for the last month following the release of strikers Bernardo Vasconcelos and Musa Mguni. The 31-year-old Okkas, one of the most prolific goalscorers in Cypriot football, has signed a four-year contract. He previously played for Nea Salamis FC and Anorthosis Famagusta FC in his homeland as well as Greek sides Olympiacos CFP, AEK Athens FC and PAOK FC. Last season, he became the first Cypriot to play for a professional Spanish club after joining RC Celta de Vigo.
Huge influx
Niculescu, 32, has signed a two-year deal and boasts an impressive track record in his native Romania where he played for several sides including FC Dinamo 1948 Bucureşti and FC Universitatea Craiova. The latest batch of new arrivals has brought the total of new players signed by Omonia this summer to 17. They are 2-0 up following the home leg of their UEFA Cup first qualifying round tie against FK Milano.
