Playas de Castellón FS, winners of the first UEFA Futsal Cup, are among 30 names in today's draw for the 2002/03 competition which takes place at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland at 14.00CET. The Spanish side won the inaugural five-a-side tournament in March 2002, beating Action 21 Charleroi 5-1 in the final at Lisbon's Pavilhão Atlântico.

Qualifying matches
The competition, which runs between October 2002 and May 2003, is divided into two qualifying rounds with the final this time being played over two legs. The first qualifying round, which must be played between 4-10 October 2002, will feature eight groups of three or four teams (depending on the number of final entries after the closing date on Friday 5 July). The winners of each group will then advance to a second group phase with the teams divided into two groups of four to be played between 17-23 March 2003.

Two-legged final
The winners of these two groups will then contest the final over two legs, home and away, the first to be played between 14-20 April 2003, the second between 28 April and 4 May.
