100 per cent record
Boomerang topped Group 5 with three wins out of three to easily progress through the first qualifying round. Boomerang were on top from the start, winning 6-1 in the opening game of the mini-tournament in Bosnia-Herzegovina against Polish contenders Clearex Chorzów on Thursday.

Boomerang were the favourites before the start and the Spanish side made their class tell with a 5-1 win against the Bosnian team on Friday. That was followed by a 4-4 draw between Chorzów and Almaty which confirmed Boomerang could not be caught at the top of the table.
Joan hits four
The Spanish team finished in style on Sunday, putting eleven past Almaty with four goals from Joan, the top scorer at the 2001/02 UEFA Futsal Cup finals in Lisbon for previous club Playas de Castellón who were already through to the last eight. The mini-tournament ended with a 2-0 win for Chorzów against Zrinjski.
