Moskvychov treble lifts Shakhtar

Ihor Moskvychov scored a hat-trick to ensure FC Shakhtar Donetsk avoided finishing in last place in the Group B mini-tournament.

Pole position
The Ukrainian international scored in the sixth and 18th minutes to put his side in a commanding lead against KMF Niš. Moskvychov added his third in the 24th minute but Milan Cvetkovic pulled one back three minutes later. However, any hopes the Serbo-Montenegrin side had of a comeback were dashed when Oleh Bezuglyy scored with eleven minutes to play. Niš did manage another consolation through Vlad Zivadinovic but it was to no avail.

Sense of pride
Neither side had any chance of qualifying for the UEFA Futsal Cup final, but Shakhtar's success tonight meant they finished the group in third place. Niš ended up in last place but can look back on the competition with a sense of achievement, especially after taking a point from hosts Furpile Prato on Saturday.
