Big guns trained on rivals

Each of the UEFA Futsal Cup second qualifying round groups will contain a rematch of one of the last two finals after the lineup was confirmed.

KMF Marbo Beograd claimed the last remaining place in the UEFA Futsal Cup second qualifying round on Friday to complete the two mini-tournament groups.

Final rematch
Beograd's 5-4 win against first qualifying round Group 4 hosts leaves them in a daunting Group B against holders Action 21 Charleroi, the team they beat in the 2005 final MFK Dinamo Moskva and ambitious FC Shakhtar Donetsk. All of the quartet picked up a maximum nine points in their respective pools.

Boomerang meet Benfica
Group A will also have a rematch of a recent final, with 2004 winners Boomerang Interviú and the runners-up that year SL Benfica both involved. They take on Belgian debutants Cristal Noir MB Morlanwelz - who gained entry as national champions Charleroi qualified as holders - and Kairat Almaty, the latter two teams, like Marbo, through to this stage for the first time.

Semi-final introduced
The mini-tournaments will each be hosted by one of the competing clubs early in 2006, and for the first time the top two will progress to a new semi-final round, with the pool winners playing the other runners-up over two legs.
