Fans in Madrid and Moscow can expect a feast of Futsal when the final is played over two legs on 29 April and 7 May. Spanish champions Boomerang Interviú will host the first match at the Pabellón Caja Madrid with their Russian counterparts MFK Dinamo Moskva hosting the second game at their Druzhba hall.
When Boomerang played host in their two-legged triumph in 2003/04, they played their games at the Pabellón Municipal 4,000-seat Parque Corredor, part of a huge sports and shopping complex a short drive from the commuter town of Torrejón de Ardoz. Their new Pabellón Caja Madrid home is in the centre of Alcalá de Henares, on the outskirts of the Spanish capital. The 4,500-capacity means even more of the Maquinha Verde's fans can attend games and there is parking for 1,500 cars.
The Druzhba hall, located within the impressive Luzhniki sporting complex in Moscow, is an eye-catching arena. It was built for the 1980 Olympic Games and has been put to excellent sporting use ever since. The venue has seating on all four sides with a general capacity of 2,200 that can be extended to 3,500. It is home to various other sports including volleyball, basketball and gymnastics, and contains a press centre and conference hall for journalists.
