Futsal Cup opens with big winners

The 2007/08 UEFA Futsal Cup kicked off on Saturday with Moldovan side FC Camelot Chisinau earning a convincing 6-0 win against Estonia's FC Anzhi Tallinn.

The two sides met in Group C of the preliminary round and the Tallinn side, the first team from Estonia to play in the tournament, were given a rude awakening as six different Chisinau players helped themselves to goals. In the day's other game, FK Kauguri ensured they were not to be eclipsed by the earlier efforts of the Moldovan side as they swept to a 10-1 win against their German opponents, FV Eppelborn.
