Mini-tournament hosts announced

The hosts for the seven preliminary round and six main round mini-tournaments have been announced ahead of the draw for the first two stages of the 2010/11 edition on 6 July.

The host clubs for the 2010/11 UEFA Futsal Cup preliminary and main rounds have been announced ahead of the draw for those stages at 14.00CET on 6 July at UEFA headquarters in Nyon.

While holders SL Benfica and fellow top seeds MFK Viz-Sinara Ekaterinburg, ElPozo Murcia FS and AFC Kairat Almaty will enter in the elite round, the remaining 44 entrants begin in one of the first two phases, including 2004/05 winners Action 21 Charleroi and last season's bronze-medallists Araz Naxçivan. They will be among 17 teams given byes to the main round, which will consist of six groups. The hosts of those mini-tournaments between 25 September and 3 October will be FK Era-Pack Chrudim (Czech Republic), FC Time Lviv (Ukraine), Slov-Matic Bratislava (Slovakia), AS Montesilvano C/5 (Italy), KMF Ekonomac Kragujevac (Serbia) and CS City US Târgu Mureş (Romania).

Further main round places will be available to the winners of the seven preliminary round groups played from 14 to 22 August. The 27 hopefuls will be split into six groups of four and one containing three. They will be hosted by FK Nautara Kaunas (Lithuania), Győri ETO FC (Hungary), AGBU Ararat Nicosia (Cyprus), Stella Rossa Vienna (Austria), KMF Zelezara Skopje (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), ZC Excess Futsal (Malta) and Keflavík (Iceland). The final entry list, seeding pots and draw procedure will be announced when the definitive list of competitors is confirmed as not all leagues are completed.
