Azerbaijan's first UEFA final tournament will be played at a 2,200-seater arena built in 2009.

• The complex was opened in August 2009 by Azerbaijan president Ilham Aliye.

• The multi-purpose arena in the Azerbaijani capital is used for boxing, taekwondo, basketball, gymnastics, volleyball and wrestling as well as futsal.

• Baku, 28 metres below sea level, is in the far east of Azerbaijan. Among its attractions is the famed Walled City.

• Host club Araz Naxçivan have dominated Azerbaijani futsal since switching from football in 2004, winning all nine league championships they have entered. They finished third in the 2010 UEFA Futsal Cup and made the semis again four years later, selected as hosts.
