UEFA has announced that all tickets for the UEFA Super Cup match between FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC in Monaco on Friday night have been sold.
Eighteen thousand tickets had been made available for the game at the Stade Louis II, home of AS Monaco FC, with UEFA Champions League holders Barça and Sevilla, last season's UEFA Cup winners, each allocated 5,600 places. Barcelona fans will travel to the principality from all over the world as the Spanish champions distributed their tickets via a lottery conducted on their website, while there are eight charter flights from Seville and 50 coaches transporting fans to the fixture.
The match is the climax of a series of events in Monaco heralding the start of the club competition season. The draw for the 2006/07 UEFA Champions League group stage will take place at 18.00CET on Thursday at the Grimaldi Forum and the draw festivities will also include the annual UEFA Club Football Awards ceremony.
