Super Cup rivals meet the media

UEFA Champions League winners AC Milan and UEFA Cup counterparts Sevilla FC have announced details of media days prior to the UEFA Super Cup in Monaco.

AC Milan and Sevilla FC have announced details of media open days prior to the UEFA Super Cup meeting in Monaco on Friday 31 August.

Milan day
Media representatives will have the chance to interview players and coaches at Milan's press day at the Milanello training centre on Thursday 23 August, with doors opening at 12.00CET. The UEFA Champions League winners also confirmed that an open training session will be held in the afternoon, kicking off at 16.00CET.

Interview requests
Meanwhile, UEFA Cup holders Sevilla are inviting the Spanish and international media to visit their Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios training centre on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday 21 August. The club will hold a training session at 18.00CET and players and coaching staff will be available for interviews between 20.00 and 21.00CET. Specific interview requests should be mailed to press officer Jesús Gómez (prensa@sevillafc.es) indicating which player(s) you would like to speak to, in order of preference.

Monaco events
The two finalists will also have a media day in Monaco on Thursday 30 August. Sevilla will stage their pre-match press conference at the Grimaldi Forum - the venue for that day's UEFA Champions League group stage draw - from 13.30CET, with Milan's starting 30 minutes later. Both conferences will feature the coach and two players.

Open training
Milan will then have an open training session at the Stade Louis II from 19.30-20.30, to be followed by Sevilla from 20.30-21.30. Only media who have successfully applied to UEFA for accreditation for the Super Cup may attend the training sessions whereas the press conferences at the Grimaldi Forum will also be open to media accredited for the club competition draws.
