Madrid break UEFA Youth League duck 

Real Madrid won the trophy for the first time against a relentless Benfica side.

Real Madrid lifted the UEFA Youth League title in their first final after a thrilling 3-2 win against Benfica.

Raúl González's men led 2-0 and 3-1 but had to hang on as Gonçalo Ramos's second goal hauled the Portuguese side back into the contest before Luis López saved a Tiago Dantas penalty to seal victory.

The last two round of 16 ties, and the remainder of the competition, were played between 16 and 25 August at Colovray Stadium, Nyon. All matches were played behind closed doors.
