Poland win Celtic battle

Slovakia 1-4 Poland Dariusz Dziekanowski prevailed over Lubomir Moravcik in a duel between two former Celtic FC players turned coaches.

Poland are still in with a chance of winning Group 4 after trouncing Slovakia 4-1 in their UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying match in Zielona Gora.

Celtic team-mates
Dariusz Dziekanowksi's side tore into a Slovakia side coached by another former Celtic FC player, Lubomir Moravcik, with Grzegorz Krychowiak opening the scoring in the fifth minute, Maciej Rybus doubling their advantage four minutes later and Kamil Majkowski adding a third after quarter of an hour.

Final day
Slovakia regained their composure early in the second half as Peter Fieber's strike seven minutes after the interval gave them hope but Majkowski restored his side's three-goal advantage in added time. Should they beat Switzerland in their final game, Poland could yet win the group provided that Slovakia take at least a point against Belgium.
