Wales came from behind to earn a draw that means both they and Turkey have hopes of qualifying for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship finals on Wednesday.

Turkey came into the game on top of the group, having beaten elite round Group 5 hosts France 1-0 on Friday while Wales drew 0-0 with Norway. The first half was Turkey's but they could not break the deadlock until Okan Derici, who scored against France, did again today from long range four minutes into the second period.

Just 13 minutes later Kurtis March equalised in a goalmouth scramble and though there were chances at both ends to win it, the score remained 1-1. A victory against Norway on Wednesday would book Turkey's place in Liechtenstein but should they slip up, Wales could capitalise by defeating France.
