The Spanish overcame F.Y.R. Macedonia over two legs to become the eighth and final side to confirm their place in the tournament showpiece which will take place between 21 and 28 July. Having established a 3-1 advantage from the away leg of the intermediate round tie the Spanish did not look back.
Other sides in finals
Other sides to have already booked their place in the finals are Germany, who overcame Poland on away goals; England, who edged out Lithuania 3-2 on aggregate; Czech Republic, who overcame Bulgaria; Slovakia, who surprisingly beat Portugal; Belgium, who comfortably defeated Greece, and Republic of Ireland who claimed the scalp of the Netherlands.
Draw date
The draw for the final eight-team tournamnet will take place at the Ullevaal stadium in Oslo at noon on Wednesday 29 May.
