The second qualifying round of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship gets under way on Monday.

The second qualifying round of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship gets under way on Monday - with seven places at this summer's final tournament in Switzerland up for grabs between now and the end of May.

Swiss hosts
Twenty-eight countries will be involved in the seven second qualifying round mini-tournaments, with the top side in each joining the Swiss hosts for this summer's championship, which runs from 13-24 July.

Holders in Group 2
Holders Italy are in Group 2 and will begin their second round campaign on 19 May. Group 5 is the first section to begin on Monday, with Romania, Russia, Croatia and Turkey squaring off in what looks set to be a keenly-contested group.

Finals draw
The draw for the final tournament will be held on Wednesday 2 June in Basel, Switzerland. Click here for this summer's provisional match schedule.
