Article body
Serbia resumed their bid to reach this summer's UEFA European Under-19 Championship by coming from behind to defeat Denmark in the opening round of fixtures in Group 7.
First-half fightback
Zvonko Zivković's side reached the semi-finals of this event in 2005 but failed to qualify for last year's finals and got off to the worst possible start in Biel as Nicki Nielsen gave Denmark a tenth-minute lead. That proved short-lived, however, as Miralem Sulejmani levelled within three minutes and midway through the half Dušan Tadić scored what proved to be the winner. The FK Vojvodina midfielder's night was to end on a sour note as he picked up two late bookings, meaning he will now miss Saturday's second fixture against hosts Switzerland. Denmark play Romania the same day.
