Serbia pip Romania to qualify

Serbia are through to the UEFA European Under-19 Championship final after completing Elite round Group 7 with a perfect record.

Early goals
Both Serbia and Romania had won both their previous matches in Switzerland, though superior goal difference meant Florin Cheran's side only needed a draw here in Fribourg. However, Romania's dreams of a first U19 qualification were dashed thanks to goals in the first 13 minutes from Ljubomir Fejsa and Miloš Bosančić. Their team have now emulated the feat of Serbia and Montenegro, who played in the final tournament in 2005. Serbia discover their final opposition when the draw is made in Linz next Wednesday and the finals in Austria are from 16-27 July.
