Holders Spain have finalised their squad for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Austria with coach Juan Santisteban cutting his original selection down to 18 ahead of the start of the tournament on Monday.
Unlucky foursome
Real Sociedad de Fútbol's Mikel Balenciaga, Omar Hernández of Sporting de Gijon, RCD Espanyol's Óscar Reyes and Real Valladolid midfielder Sergio García were the unfortunate players to miss out from the provisional party of 22 as Spain defend the trophy they won in Poland 12 months ago. The holders, who arrived in Linz on Saturday evening, begin their campaign on Monday against the hosts before facing Portugal and Greece in their other Group A games.
