Final say
Following defeats against Switzerland and Belgium in their opening games, both sides had nothing but pride to play for. Ireland took the lead on the half-hour, with Aaron Doran finding the target with a hard, low drive after a solo run from the right. Rasmus Jönsson responded nine minutes later for Sweden, but James Collins had the final say, with his low strike settling the match 16 minutes from time.
