Turkey coach Ogün Temizkanoğlu has selected a squad of 19 players for next week's UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Ukraine.

Galatasaray defenders
There is a strong Galatasaray SK presence in the defence, with four players from the Istanbul giants featuring in Temizkanoğlu's party. New Beşiktaş JK recruit Rıdvan Şimşek, a promising right-back, is also included along with midfield tyros Furkan Özçal, Soner Aydoğdu and Necip Uysal. Perhaps the star name, though, is Sercan Yıldırım, a striker who registered eleven goals in the Süper Lig last season for Bursaspor. Turkey get their campaign under way against Spain on 21 July before tacking France and Serbia in Group B.
