The City Hall in Caen will be the venue for the 9th UEFA European Under-19 Championship final tournament draw at 12.00CET today with eight teams aiming to take the title in France next month.

The hosts, and 2005 champions, are joined by the seven qualifiers for the draw, including four-time winners Spain, 2003 winners Italy, last season's runners-up England plus Portugal and Austria. The Netherlands and Croatia complete the qualifying picture with both set to make their U19 finals debuts this summer.

Two groups of four will be formed in the unseeded draw, made by Reinhard Walser, third vice-chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee, Michel Hidalgo, France coach at the 1984 UEFA European Championship, and French Under-21 international Sébastien Corchia.

Group games are played on 18, 21 and 24 July in Caen, Mondeville, Flers, Saint-Lô and Bayeux. The top two in each group will progress to the semi-finals on 27 July, with the final scheduled for the Stade Michel d'Ornano in Caen three days later.
