SERBIA 2-1 TURKEY
Ljubinko Drulović, Serbia coach
I am very satisfied. My players gave 100% of their strength. They gave their very best and really deserved this win. The weather conditions were difficult, changeable. At one point it was raining and then it would suddenly get hot before beginning to rain again. It was tricky for both teams but particularly for us as we have very technically gifted players. It was very hard trying to compete against the conditions and a very good Turkey side. My players respected my requests to the letter. I would not pick out any of them for their performances today. We played as a team and we deserved to win as a team. If we play every game like we did today, we can achieve very good results here.

Okan Buruk, Turkey coach
We didn't start well and the first goal we conceded – a well-taken goal – led to us dropping our level a little bit. The pitch was in perfect condition but a little bit slippery because of the rain. Perhaps due to their lack of experience, some of our players didn't choose the correct boots and found it hard to keep their balance on certain occasions. There were few moments during the encounter that I was happy with in general – maybe in the last ten minutes we did OK.

GEORGIA 0-0 FRANCE
Giorgi Tsetsadze, Georgia coach
At the interval I was really unhappy because our team hadn't played well. To be honest, before the break we were really terrible. However we managed to improve in the second half, largely because of our great physical condition, so I was happy with my players after the break. Our guys got some valuable experience in the elite round playing against the likes of England and Scotland, and this experience clearly helped today. I'm especially satisfied with our boys' team spirit and with the fact we have really tried to play as a team.

Francis Smerecki, France coach
It was a hard match physically. We were a little bit short if we wanted to win it, and a draw was a fair result even though we perhaps controlled most of the match. We tried to win but we weren't able to do that. Georgia are a good team, they have two or three interesting attacking players. They're well organised but I think that if we'd had more than ten days to work together, we'd have been in better shape. In the second half we had a good chance to open the scoring and that would have changed the match. Georgia played very well; I like a lot of their players.
