UEFA confirms semi-final line-up

Both semi-finals will be played in Mannheim on 21 July, England taking on Italy at 12:00CET before Portugal-France at 17:00, with the FIFA U-20 World Cup play-off at 19:00.

UEFA has confirmed the details for the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship semi-finals on Thursday 21 July, with the FIFA U-20 World Cup play-off taking place the same day.

Group B winners England take on Group A runners-up Italy in the first semi-final, at 12:00CET, with the Group A winners Portugal playing France at 17:00CET. Both ties will be played at the Carl-Benz-Stadion in Mannheim.

Meanwhile, the sides that finished third in each section – hosts Germany (Group A) and the Netherlands (Group B) – play off for a place in next year's FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea. Their contest starts at 19:00CET at the Hardtwaldstadion in Sandhausen.

All three games will be shown live on Eurosport.
