The 2025/26 UEFA European Under-19 Championship elite round draw at 11:30 CET on Wednesday 10 December will set seven groups for the mini-tournaments that will decide Wales' seven finals opponents.
The top two teams in each qualifying round group and the third-placed team with the best record against the top two teams in their group (Switzerland) join top seeds Spain in the elite round in spring 2026. These 28 teams will be drawn into seven groups of four teams, with the procedure to be confirmed ahead of the ceremony.
Through to elite round: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Netherlands (holders), Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (bye), Sweden, Switzerland (best third-placed), Türkiye, Ukraine
The seven groups will be played as one-venue mini-tournaments, with the venues to be confirmed after the draw. The seven group winners will then join hosts Wales in the final tournament scheduled from 28 June to 11 July.
