Five-goal André Silva and Selke set scoring pace

André Silva and Davie Selke have been instrumental in Portugal and Germany reaching the semi-finals, their five goals apiece taking them well clear in the scoring charts.

André Silva and Davie Selke lead the way in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship goalscoring stakes after the group stage, and both will have at least one more opportunity to add to their five-goal tallies.

While Germany striker Selke is the only player to have scored in all three games so far – finding the net twice against both Bulgaria and Ukraine either side of his matchday two strike against Serbia – André Silva's haul is largely based around one superlative performance. The Portugal forward struck four times against Hungary in the second round of games – the first time a player has scored four goals in a U19 finals match – adding to his matchday one goal against Israel.

Four players are on two goals and all – Austria pair Sinan Bytyqi and Florian Grillitsch, Serbia's Nemanja Maksimović and Marcos Lopes of Portugal – will have the chance to increase their tallies in Monday's semi-finals. Silva is the season's top scorer with 11 goals although Selke is in hot pursuit with ten strikes to his name.
