Getafe chosen
In the new competition, which has replaced the UEFA Women's Cup, the old two-legged final has been replaced by a one-off fixture held two nights before the men's UEFA Champions League final, in the same city. And with the 2010 final in Madrid, the 16,996-capacity stadium in Getafe, on the outskirts of the Spanish capital, has been chosen to host the women's showpiece.
Friday draw
Holders FCR Duisburg, German rivals 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, French duo Olympique Lyonnais and Montpellier Hérault SC, former European champions Arsenal LFC and Umeå IK plus Norway's Røa IL and Italian team ASD Torres Calcio remain in contention and will be in the draw for the remainder of the competition at 12.00CET on Friday in Nyon. The two-legged quarter-finals will be played on 10 and 17 March and the semis on 10/11 and 17/18 April.
