UEFA Women’s EURO 2029 host announcement

The UEFA Executive Committee will select the host association for UEFA Women’s EURO 2029 on Wednesday 3 December, with final bid presentations and the announcement ceremony taking place at UEFA Headquarters, the House of European Football, in Nyon, Switzerland.

Following the conclusion of the announcement ceremony, a mixed zone will be organised outside the auditorium for interview opportunities. No press conference will be held.

Media representatives wishing to be accredited are requested to submit this electronic form by Tuesday 25 November. Accredited media will be granted access to the building from 15:00 CET through the media entrance, which will be indicated upon arrival at UEFA Headquarters.

Media access to the auditorium for the ceremony will be confirmed prior to event. The ceremony will be streamed live in the media working area as well as on UEFA.com and UEFA.tv.

A VNR and photos from the event will be made available on the same afternoon on the UEFA Media Channel.

Final bids were submitted by Denmark and Sweden (joint bid), Germany, Poland and Portugal*.

*On 18 November 2025, the Portuguese Football Federation announced its decision to withdraw their bid to host UEFA Women’s EURO 2029.
