Women's Nations League finals and promotion/relegation matches draws

The draws set February's finals ties plus the promotion and relegation matches.

UEFA

Women's Nations League finals draw

The four League A group winners will face off in a knockout competition on Friday 23 and Wednesday 28 February to determine the inaugural UEFA Women's Nations League winners.

Finals ties

Semi-finals (23 February)
Spain vs Netherlands
France vs Germany

Final & third-place match (28 February)
Spain / Netherlands vs France / Germany

The finals are played as single-leg knockout matches.

No teams were seeded for the semi-final draw.

The four balls containing the names of the four League A group winners were placed in one bowl.

A ball is drawn and the team drawn was placed as the home team in the semi-final 1 tie.

A second ball was drawn and the team drawn was placed as the away team in the semi-final 1 tie.

A third ball was drawn and the team drawn placed as the home team in the semi-final 2 tie.

The remaining ball was drawn and the team drawn placed as the away team in the semi-final 2 tie

The winners of the two semi-finals on 23 February advance to the final and the defeated teams contest the third-place match, both on 28 February. A draw was also held to decide which semi-final will produce the home teams for the final and third-place match.

Two balls containing 'semi-final 1' and 'semi-final 2' were placed in the central bowl and shuffled.

The first ball drawn determined the home team for the final (winners of that semi-final pairing) and the home team for the third-place match (defeated team of that semi-final pairing).

The two finalists qualify for the 2024 Women's Olympic Football Tournament, joining hosts France, who qualify automatically. If France reach the final, the third-placed team fills the remaining slot at the Olympic Games.
