Italy 0-1 Spain
Spain coach Ignacio Quereda
We played with a very good level of self-confidence and we also got our tactics spot on. We knew that the Italians would be tough to beat as we've played them before in friendlies. I was expecting it to go to extra time and probably penalties in order to decide the winner. We knew that Italy had two quick forwards so we worked on our tactics to contain them. The final will be an entertaining match for the fans - it will be a tough game in the final no matter who we play.
Spain captain Iraia
It was a very difficult match as the two teams were quite similar in quality and the Italians defended very well. We passed the ball better and got the breakthrough so I'm very happy. We know the final will also be a difficult game but we are here to win the competition and that's what we'll be trying to do on Sunday.
Italy coach Elisabetta Bavagnoli
To lose the match was obviously a negative thing for us but it was a fair result as we didn't play well and Spain deserved to go to the final. However, to reach the semi-finals was something very positive. Tournaments such as this are what we need for our development and it's been a great experience. This is a young team which has been together for six months and we know there's a lot to improve on and learn before the World Championship. Playing in Finland has been fundamental to the team's progress and with a lot of bravery and a bit of luck we got to the semi-finals.
