Tough opener for Hungary

Host nation Hungary face a daunting start to their campaign against world champions Germany in Group A.

July encounters
Finland and Switzerland make up that pool, with France, Russia, Scotland and England in Group B. The group matches will be played between 20 and 25 July, with two teams from each section progressing to the semi-finals.

Five places
The tournament will also serve as qualifying for the FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship in Russia. As hosts, Russia will qualify as one of five European sides in the world competition, so a play-off match will be staged between the teams finishing third in each group to determine the identity of Europe's fifth representative if Russia reach the semi-finals.

Four venues
Those games will take place on 28 July with the final three days later. All matches will be played in the towns of Bük, Pápa, Andráshida and Zalaegerszeg. Both semi-finals and the final will be broadcast live on Eurosport.
