Meinert wants even more goals

The coaches of Germany and Finland are planning for the last four as uefa.com rounds up the reaction in Group A.

Maren Meinert, Germany
I think we had a very good first half. We played very well, we used the space on the outside very well. We went into the locker room with a 3-0 lead and in the second half we lost it, so we didn't play very well. But I am very relieved that we played well in the first half. Even though we had already qualified, we wanted to go for first place, and that is what we did today. It is the old problem that we can't score enough goals from our chances. But as long as we create chances I am optimistic that we are going to score in the next game.

Jarmo Matikainen, Finland
First of all, I am very proud of the girls' comeback in the second half, because the first half was very difficult. Germany are something of a bogey team to us and in the first half they were clearly given too much respect. We lost one-on-one situations too easily. At half-time I told the girls that there was nothing to be afraid of - they are great players, but you are great players as well, and the girls showed that in the second half. I think we could match Germany with the weapons we had and we could challenge them, but the Germans controlled the ball really well. I anticipated that France and Germany would be the toughest teams, now we have nothing to lose so we will go and play to the best of our ability.

Claudio Taddei, Switzerland
We didn't play a very good game really, and were better against Finland and Germany. I don't know why but we were really nervous, even after we scored such an early goal. We knew the England game had finished 1-1 and had a chance to finish third and we took that chance. Hungary were a good team, just not quite good enough to beat us. We now have two more days here in Hungary which is exciting for us. We still hope to go to Russia and we have to hope we can beat England. All British teams play for 95 or 100 minutes if necessary so we expect a tough game.

Edina Markó, Hungary
Our belief collapsed in the first minute because of their goal. I can tell that their No5 Vanessa Bürki is a world-class player, and we cannot contain a player like that. After we scored to make it 2-1 we found our way for several minutes but the third goal destroyed us again and after that we were too tired to make anything change in the bigger picture of the game.
