Next generation
The likes of Francesco Totti, Paul Scholes, Thierry Henry, Petra Wimbersky and Trine Rønning are just some of the players who have lit up the men's and women's UEFA European Under-19 Championship down the years on their way to becoming stars for club and country. In 2007 the UEFA Training Ground went in search of the next generation of superstars, following Germany's men in Austria and Norway's women in Iceland in two exclusive fly-on-the-wall documentaries.
