Sara Doorsoun-Khajeh and the uncapped Angelina Lübcke have been drafted into the Germany squad ahead of Wednesday's semi-final against France after Hasret Kayikci and Laura Vetterlein were ruled out of the rest of the tournament.

Kayikci and Vetterlein both picked up knee injuries after coming on against England on Sunday as Germany won 2-1 to take top spot in Group A: an "expensive victory" according to assistant coach Bettina Wiegmann. Only just back from a knock, Vetterlein was making her first appearance of these finals as an early replacement for Kathrin-Julia Hendrich; Kayikci started the first two games and was initially rested on Sunday.
