England's preparations for Wednesday's UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship semi-final against the Netherlands have been dented after Laura Coombs was ruled out of the rest of the tournament.

Nottingham Forest LFC midfielder Coombs, a scorer in England's 3-1 opening-day victory over Scotland, suffered a thigh injury in the pre-match warm-up ahead of England's defeat by Germany on Sunday. Chelsea LFC's Jodie Jacobs, 19, has been called up as a replacement and will arrive in Skopje on Wednesday morning. She has not represented England in this competition since September 2008.
