Wales will host the 2012/13 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship in August 2013.

Wales will stage its first UEFA final tournament in summer 2013 after being awarded the 2012/13 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship.

This is new ground for the Football Association of Wales (FAW) but Cardiff's Millennium Stadium will be the venue for matches at the 2012 Olympic Games, which has competitions for both men and women. Matches will be held in Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Bridgend.
