United States 6-0 Denmark
Denmark's FIFA World Under-19 Championship adventure came to a shuddering halt as they were brushed aside by the United States at the Centennial stadium in Victoria.
Irresistible form
Semi-finalists in the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship in May, Denmark came up against a US side in irresistible form. Heather O'Reilly scored twice in the first half, but Kelly Wilson stole the show with a hat-trick.
Huge goal difference
The US are the favourites to win the competition, with Germany now standing between them and the final after the European champions defeated Japan 2-1 after extra time earlier today. Silvia Neid's side will have be on the top of their game to eliminate the Americans as they currently boast a goal difference of plus 20 after just four matches.
Memorable display
The 17-year-old O'Reilly opened the scoring from close range in the eleventh minute before doubling the US's advantage in the 27th minute. Wilson then struck twice to send the US in four goals to the good at the interval. Lindsay Tarpley made it 5-0 in the 57th minute before Wilson completed her hat-trick with 22 minutes remaining, capping a memorable and team display.
